How to submit your film:

There's two ways to submit. Submit your film via (NOTE: WOAB is currently not active, please submit directly) or follow the instructions and fill out the form below:

To submit your film to the Connecticut Film Festival, we request that you fill in the online registration form and mail your DVD (NTSC) screener, submission fee and support materials to:

Film Competition

The Connecticut Film Festival continues this year's short film competition at numerous venues throughout the state. The rules couldn’t be easier and the rewards are grande! Here are the categories:Best Mocumentary, Best Documentary, Best PSA, Best Filmed and Edited On A Mobil Device, Best Music Video, Funniest Film, Most Clever, Most Dramatic

To show us your shorts: Please submit a 3-5 minute (give or take) short of your choosing. Your short film can be new or old, and it doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced, beginner or student filmmaker, cause ANYONE can enter. Selected films will be screened throughout the year. Winners from the categories below will be awarded handsomely. And, their films will be available for viewing at Award winning shorts will also be screened at upcoming CTFF events.

Submissions are $32.00 and include 4 tickets to the screenings of participant's films. (MOV files only. The files will be played during the screening from a hard drive.)

CTFF will be judging all submissions and decisions are final. You will be notified within approximately one day of your submission if your film is accepted and if it is going to be screened.
