One By One

Presented by: Knights of Columbus - Screening FREE ADMISSION To All Students

“One by One” documents one of the many examples of Compassion International child-advocacy ministry, which pairs compassionate people with those who are suffering from poverty.

The documentary shows the visit of children in Haiti by a group of Italian sponsors, their meetings with the sponsored children, which demonstrates the successful reality of Compassion in Haiti.

The aim is to sensitize as many people as possible by showing the concrete, lasting and Christ-centered relationship between each sponsor and his/her sponsored child.

Director Statement

My creative interests focus on the relationships between faith and reason, as well as between reality and fantasy that links video production, film and literature to social media from a sociological as well as creative point of view.

Given my interest in creative arts, especially video, music and writing, I feel it is important to give a productive proof of results; this is why I love to give creative examples of my assumptions. These can come from my own experience as a creative professional as well as from other artists. In this sense, I believe in the importance of collaboration and undertaking among scholars and artists, and a multidisciplinary research environment can be the best place to set my own creative interests and practice.

My future creative goals include showing and telling how digital culture is influencing the relationships among Christians as well as between man and God, what the relationship nowadays of arts like music, literature and cinema, to Faith is, and how this relationship functions, especially in the cross-disciplinary terms of artistic storytelling, iconic and musical producing.

At the same time, I continue to be very interested in fields like creative writing, scriptwriting for film and television, modern and contemporary American literature and cinema, the relationships among musical languages, including their stylistic evolution in video music.

My professional goals include pursuing my career, gaining the knowledge and experience that would allow me to establish myself as a video-maker and professor. At the same time, I have a plan to continue to write novels and scripts.
